People

This is a page for people that I have worked with who I think you should check out. Just click on their names, I’ve done something clever with links.

Tom Crowley

This man is very funny, he plays Coolbox and Seb in Me and My Fridge.

He’s also really good at drawing and being funny in his sketch troupe The Sad Faces.

He is currently working on a play that he’s written called Ghost City that’s being produced by a good friend of mine called John Wakefield. I’ll talk about him in a bit. I asked him to be in the production company but he’s too busy making erotica audio books.

Lizzie Milton

Full disclosure, Lizzie is my girlfriend. She is also a fantastic writer. I’m going to produce one of her plays soon. That will be up on here when it’s finished.

Maxwell Tyler

A bloody good actor who I’m using as my lead in all the “stuff that talks and breaks” package.

He’s been in King Lear as directed by Sam Mendez don’t you know.

I just looked at his casting call page now to link you to him. My radio plays aren’t on there. That’s because he has better stuff to talk about. I don’t mind… Much.

John Wakefield

He’s very good at radio. Just… Go to his site, it’s very good.

Lærke Sødring Nielsen

A spring of Danish inspiration. She plays Claire in Me and my Fridge and is a great radio producer in her own right.

She’s currently a part of organising the first ever radio drama festival in Denmark. I am lucky enough to know her so that I get to be a part of it. Check out her work, it’s both weird and very beautiful.

Rory Bowens

Rory is a very talented radio maker and DJ. He is also secretly a very funny man. His play about rural shop owners in Ireland is brilliant in a classic Lineham meets Bennet kind of way. It’s not on his sound cloud yet, I’m working on it.

Other than that, if you’re cool and trendy or otherwise afflicted with a desire to be, he runs a brilliant night in south-east London called Caught Up. They play music that even gives an uncoordinated ape like me the desire for a micro-boogie.

Katie John

Katie is an exceptional journalist with a penchant for the perceptive. Yes I am proud of that alliteration shut up. She now works for the Beeb the lucky sod. I say lucky I mean has a great work ethic and has talent. Anyway, if you’re into something a little more out there, she has an excellent soundscape piece on her soundcloud, called The East and the East End.

More to come… Finding links and time for it.
